Summer fun in Southend: Saturday 7 August

Enjoy fantastic views of Southend’s famous seafront, the world’s longest pier and the Thames Estuary as a guest of Rezidor Hotels and celebrate the opening of its 137-room Park Inn Palace in Southend-on-Sea.

Housed within an impressive £25 million conversion of the much-loved “Palace” building, the hotel is a key part of the current transformation of Southend including a new City Beach seafront and major road improvements which will help restore its popularity as a coach and group destination and a great base from which to explore the attractions throughout Essex.

CTC members are invited by Annette Gallagher of the Rezidor Hotel Group to enjoy an informal evening social with seaside themed buffet – and overnight B&B accommodation - at the hotel on the Western Esplanade on Saturday 7 August. It’s FREE for operators and wholesalers, while any CTC supplier who would like to stay will be charged just £35pp. What’s more anyone can bring up to two children along too.

Have fun and go on a train ride along the pier, enjoy the thrill and spills of Adventure Island and perhaps try the famous jellied eels. Or take a more sedate ride on the iconic Historic Cliff Lift, recently restored to its original 1912 format.

To register please email Annette at Annette.Gallagher@Rezidor.com
